# Withdrawing Funds

Any USDT sitting in your **available** balance can be withdrawn back to your connected wallet at any time.

## Step by step

1. Go to your Wallet / Balance page and choose **Withdraw**.
2. Enter the amount you want to withdraw (must be less than or equal to your available balance).
3. Confirm.

That's it — there's no separate "destination address" field to fill in.

## Why can't I choose a different destination address?

For your security, withdrawals always go to **the same wallet address you're currently logged in with** — the one verified when you connected. The platform deliberately ignores any address a client app might try to submit, so even if your browser session were somehow compromised, funds could not be redirected to an attacker's wallet. If you want to withdraw to a different wallet, connect with that wallet first.

## What happens after you confirm

The platform submits a real USDT transfer on the TON blockchain from the platform's custody wallet to your address. This is a blockchain transaction like any other — it needs to be broadcast and confirmed, which usually takes anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of minutes depending on network conditions.

If you submit the same withdrawal request twice in quick succession (e.g. a double click), the platform recognizes it as a duplicate and won't send the funds twice.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.pretoke.xyz/using-the-platform/withdrawing-funds.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
